St. Louis – June 17, 2019 – Boys Hope Girls Hope of St. Louis announced today that it received a grant commitment in the amount of $100,000 from the Boniface Foundation to help academically capable and motivated children-in-need meet their full potential. The Boniface Foundation supports high-quality education for the underserved in St. Louis county and city to help break the cycle of poverty, which ultimately results in the improved health and well-being of our community.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Boniface Foundation for their commitment to the Boys Hope Girls Hope mission,” said BHGH STL Board President Jim Mather. “This investment will allow us to continuously improve our programming and serve our scholars and collegians as they continue to grow as men and women for others.”
The Boniface Foundation’s investment will help fund educational costs for BHGH STL scholars attending college preparatory schools in the St. Louis area and operational costs related to scholar and collegian support.
“We are thrilled to make this investment supporting the Boys Hope Girls Hope of St. Louis scholars,” said Jim Powers, Boniface Board Member. “We appreciate the depth of this program and the impact the organization has on the well-being and future of the youth it serves. We look forward to working with BHGH to ensure the success of its scholars and collegians.”
