Kelly Wetzler<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kelly Wetzler serves as Executive Director. Prior to joining Boniface Foundation, Ms. Wetzler held several roles at St. Anthony\u2019s Medical Center including Interim CEO and Senior Vice President. Prior to joining St. Anthony\u2019s Medical Center, Ms. Wetzler was employed by Viasystems Group, Inc., a global manufacturer of electronic components and a Hicks Muse private equity portfolio company. She served as Senior Vice President Corporate Development and Risk Management. Her responsibilities included initial evaluation of acquisitions, due diligence, acquisition financing, security offerings, private placements and special projects. Additionally, her responsibilities included investor and lender relations, as well as overseeing internal audit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Laura Burian serves as Associate. Ms. Burian provides managerial and administrative support as well as leads the evaluation and coordination of grants. Prior to joining Boniface Foundation, Ms. Burian was employed by St. Anthony\u2019s Medical Center working directly for the Chairman and CEO. Prior to joining St. Anthony\u2019s Medical Center, Ms. Burian was employed by Viasystems Group, Inc. where she worked directly for the CEO.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Winthrop Reed, III<\/p>\n\n\n\n

President and Chairman of the Board<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winthrop B. Reed, III is a Member at Lewis Rice, specializing in Antitrust, Health Care, Information Technology, Class Action, Franchise Law and Commercial Litigation. Mr. Reed provides a significant amount of pro bono legal work to the Saint Louis Zoo. Mr. Reed serves on the board of directors of the St. Louis Zoo, Mercy Hospital South, Mercy Health East Communities, Opera Theatre of St. Louis, and the legal board member of Midwest Bankcentre.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

James Powers retired in 2025 from Tacony Corporation where he served as President & CFO. Prior to that, Mr. Powers was Chief Financial Officer at Dent Wizard from July 2018 to August 2022, when he took over as Sr. Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions for Dent Wizard. Prior to his time at Dent Wizard, Mr. Powers served as President and Chief Executive Officer of UniGroup, Inc. and Subsidiaries. Mr. Powers serves on the board of Mercy Health East Communities after previously serving as Chairman of the Board of Mercy Hospital South and on the Rockhurst University St. Louis Leaders Council.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Daniel Bippen serves as CEO at Kuna Meat Company, Inc., Managing Partner of KFS Development and is the current Corporate Secretary and Director of UniPro Foodservice, Inc. Mr. Bippen is an active member of the business community. He serves on the board of Mercy Health East Communities, Midwest Bankcentre Legal Board, and the Police Athletic League Board.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Tracy Mathis<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our Board Member, Tracy Mathis, who served on the Boniface Foundation Board of Directors since 2023. She passed away on March 6, 2026 surrounded by family and friends. We are grateful for the lasting impact she made on our community. <\/strong> Ms. Mathis was a retired attorney who was a member of Lewis Rice and concentrated her practice in health care law. She served as primary or special counsel to regional health care organizations such as hospitals and physician groups. She advised governing boards and directors with respect to their responsibilities, obligations, and duties to each other, their shareholders, members, and other constituents as well as to applicable regulatory authorities or other third parties with supervisory functions. Ms. Mathis served on the Board of Directors at Youth In Need and St. Louis Area Health Lawyers Association.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
