Community Well-being

We are committed to creating systemic improvements in the health and well-being of our community through collaborations and investments in initiatives focused on serving vulnerable children and helping low income communities become safe places with good housing and the services needed to succeed.

Boniface Foundation supports Invest STL in its mission on revitalizing the neighborhoods supported by investments in people, neighborhoods and systems whereby every St. Louis neighborhood is a chosen place to live, raise children, and grow old.

Boniface is supporting the Gateway Region YMCA and Miracle League, and St. Louis Cardinals and Cardinals Care, the team’s charitable foundation, on a new YMCA Adaptive Sports Complex on the campus of the South County YMCA to provide equal opportunities to the underserved community of children and adults with diverse abilities. The centerpiece of the sports complex is a custom-designed Miracle League Baseball Field with a cushioned, barrier-free surface and barrier-free dugout to provide accessibility for players with disabilities. In addition, the complex includes an inclusive and fully accessible playground, soccer field and running track.

A region is only as strong as all of its communities, therefore Boniface Foundation is supporting Beyond Housing, a nationally recognized, comprehensive community development organization dedicated to transforming the St. Louis region’s under-resourced communities to create a stronger, more equitable, and prosperous St. Louis for all with a $1.5 million grant. Beyond Housing’s work brings civic leaders, targeted nonprofits, corporate partners, and residents together to create meaningful and lasting change.

We also partner with organizations serving at-risk children and youth and their families.
